The ever growing list of actors introduced by superstar Salman Khan in Bollywood sees another two young talents making their entry with his upcoming production 'Notebook'. The romantic film stars Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl in the lead roles. Zaheer Iqbal is a son of one of Salman Khan's close friends and Pranutan Bahl is the daughter of Mohnish Bahl and granddaughter of legendary actress Nutan. The two starlets are seen romancing each other in an unusual love story whose trailer and songs have already kept the audience engaged.

In a recent interview, debutant Zaheer Iqbal opened up about how Salman picked him and put his confidence in him. Zaheer revealed that Salman saw him in an act of his, he had prepared for his sister during her wedding, which Salman had attended. Salman then offered him the film after watching him act and dance. The actor also dismissed the rumours that Salman just saw him dancing and picked him to title the film.


When asked about what advice did the superstar give him, Zaheer revealed Salman just said not to overact. Salman made him aware of the different things that go into a shot to complete it. Salman said that he has to keep in mind the there would be bgm, sound, and lots of other elements which will make it sound over the top. So to maintain the balance, you have to find the perfect spot and keep in mind the rest of the things.


Zaheer also added that Salman was very supporting and very confident about him. The actor also said that Salman said he saw something in him and his entire confidence comes from Salman's trust in him. The 'Notebook' actor also opened up that whenever he would feel nervous, he used to think about the fact that the superstar has shown his faith in him and has put his money on his film.


Helmed by Nitin Kakkar, the romantic drama set in the beautiful locales of Kashmir will hit the screens on 29th March 2019.
